The Native Bee Watch
The Native Bee Watch project seeks to apply human-AI interaction, explanation generation, and mental modeling techniques to the development of an intelligent tutoring system for community science training. The project is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), and is helping to aid bee pollinator conservation efforts across Colorado.
A CULTURE OF LEARNING
Each year, our students travel globally to attend conferences and present their research. This gives them valuable, practical experience presenting research, receiving feedback and engaging in the research community as a whole.
There are also many other opportunities to participate in reading groups, lectures and projects in and around the lab.
